Our day job keeps us busy in the office. But the Excite Credit Union staff likes to step out at every opportunity and help make things happen in the communities we serve. The following is a list of upcoming events we're participating in or contributing to...or Partner events that we're sharing.

1st Saturdays - Veggielution - First Saturday of each month

What is Veggielution? The mission of Veggielution is to connect people from diverse backgrounds outdoors through food and farming to build community in East San José. On 1st Saturdays at Veggielution the diversity of our community comes to life.  Excite will be on site to answer questions and provide resources around financial education.

San Jose Giants

         

Excite Credit Union is proud to support the San Jose Giants. As the Single-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, the team has brought exciting baseball and family-friendly entertainment to fans in San Jose for decades.

Come out to Excite Ballpark for a game!  Every Friday night during the 2026 Season, the San Jose Giants will light up the sky with Friday Fireworks thanks to Excite Credit Union. Whether you're a lifelong fan or enjoying your first night at the ballpark, it's a great way to experience the spirit of our community.

Season starts April 2...first home game is April 7!

Wilma Dash - Wilmington’s ONLY All-Female 5K!

Date:  Thursday, May 7, 2026
Location: Wilmington Convention Center
Health Fest in Expo Hall: 4:00 - 9:00 pm  |  5K Walk / Run Start: 6:30 pm 

After the race, stay for the WILMA Dash Health Fest. The Health Fest includes local health & wellness exhibitors, food, drinks, awards and more! 

Not participating in the Dash, but still want to be a part of the action? The Health Fest is open to everyone and all ticket/donation proceeds will benefit Feast Down East. The race is presented by WILMA Magazine.

Wilmington Sharks

         

Excite Credit Union is also proud to support the Wilmington Sharks, a summer collegiate team that brings exciting baseball to fans in Wilmington, North Carolina. Competing in the Coastal Plain League, the Sharks showcase talented college players from around the country and provide affordable, family-friendly entertainment throughout the summer.

As part of our commitment to the Wilmington community, Excite partners with the Sharks to celebrate local baseball and connect with members and fans throughout the season.

The Market is held in downtown Wilmington, NC on Dock Street between 2nd Street & Water Street.
Saturdays 8 am - 1 pm (rain or shine).
